Brand Collabs Don’t Need To Be Graza and Fishwife
Brand collaborations have been on my mind a lot lately.
We’ve all seen the big ones. Graza x Fishwife is still a standout. Ultra-premium, cross-branded, and a heavy lift done right. More recently, Tru Fru x Tarte showed how food and beauty can collide with a limited-edition launch that felt natural, aligned, and culturally smart. When these collaborations work, it’s because the audience overlap is real.
But here’s the thing.
Most brands don’t need to create a new product together to benefit from collaborations. And at Socialike, we’re not in the business of manufacturing new SKUs.
That’s where social-first brand collabs come in.
With reach getting harder and algorithms getting pickier, these collaborations are basically social media PR.
A few real-world examples we’ve worked on:

Pickerfresh x Zoup
One of Pickerfresh’s core pillars is elevating meals.Zoup already makes great soup. Add pickled garlic or sun-dried tomatoes, and you’ve got an elevated version of something people already love. Simple, aligned, and natural.

Pickerfresh x Prime Roots
This one was tied to Fancy Food Show. We supplied petite dill pickles. They used them to elevate their sandwiches at the booth. We added a small table tent, got organic exposure, and created content around it. Real-world activation paired with digital follow-through.

Cookstix x Camping Brand
Free gift with order. Anyone who bought camping gear received Cookstix plus a coupon. Strong audience fit, solid redemption, and a clean way to introduce the product to a new group of consumers.

SweeTango Apple Nachos
This one started with listening. We noticed customers using SweeTango apples alongside other brands to make apple nachos. Instead of forcing a collab, we reached out to the brands people were already using, created a piece of content together, and everyone posted. Reach was great. Relationships came out of it. And now those brands regularly support each other’s content.
The takeaway is simple.
Brand collaborations don’t have to be massive, expensive, or complicated.
They don’t have to be Graza x Fishwife.
Sometimes it’s just:
- Listening to your customers
- Finding friends in the industry
- Sharing the spotlight
It’s one of the most effective ways to reach new, like-minded audiences right now. And honestly, it’s one of the more fun parts of the job.
