As most of you have heard by now, Trump’s recent flagged tweets have led him to announce an executive order aimed at big tech and specifically social media companies.

As of right now, we don’t see this having a major impact on social media marketing, other than the points outlined below.
- The use of social media sites like www.gab.com with a far-right base could see an increase in users.
- Cost of social media ads could go down if federal and state governments start to pull their ad spend from social media platforms.
